Cisternino is one of the most charming villages in the whole area where it is a pleasure to lose oneself among the little alleys and squares, breathing in the atmosphere of times past (and the scent of meat being cooked outside the butcher’s shops).  An almost oriental charm, due to the architecture that distinguishes the historical center.
