Die Villa selbst liegt in einem sehr gepflegten großen Garten mit Blumen und Bäumen. Eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und großzügige Räumlichkeiten sind auch für einen Familienaufenthalt der ideale Rahmen. Die zentrale Lage ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagestrips zu allen Highlights, die die Toskana zu bieten hat.

Der Wellnessbereich wurde von uns zwar nicht genützt, bietet jedoch sicher einen Anreiz für einen eventuellen Regentag. Das Sitzen am Feuer des offenen Kamins trug sehr zur gemütlichen Atmosphäre bei. Der ans Haus angrenzende Terrassenbereich mit großem Pool lädt auch Familien mit Kindern dazu ein, entspannte Tage im Haus und bei einem wunderbaren Ausblick auf die toskanische Landschaft zu verbringen.

Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind genau so nahe wie gute Restaurants mit einem ausgezeichneten Angebot bei vernünftigen Preisen.

Die Organisation hat sowohl bei der Übernahme der Villa als auch bei der Übergabe klaglos funktioniert.

Wer auch immer seinen Urlaub in der Toskana verbringen möchte, diese Villa ist ein guter Tipp!

Villa Tea: a dream come true!
My wife and I had hoped for some time to rent a villa in Tuscany for 3 weeks and have the children and grand-children come and visit central Tuscany with us. This project came to fruition in mid-May 2015 when we arrived at Villa Tea. We had considered a dozen potential villas, all with great amenities, but finally chose Villa Tea based on its location, very near Siena, its size (we were going to be 6 adults and 3 children at peak occupancy), its amenities and its physical characteristics, as shown in its description and photos.
In reality, the villa turned out to be even more beautiful than anticipated. It is a gated property on a hill, beautifully landscaped with gorgeous views, many trees and flowers, especially roses and jasmin. Although it is only a few minutes by car from Siena, it is very quiet, except for the summery chatter of a multitude of birds. The bedrooms are confortable and tastefully appointed and there are enough bathrooms for 9-10 people to be totally at ease. The common areas are spacious and confortable, with beautiful furniture. The swimming pool was delightful on the warmer days, as was the indoor spa, especially for the children on a couple of rainy days.
Villa Tea is situated on the northeastern side of Siena, with easy access to the Chianti region, Florence, as well as San Gimignano and Volterra. It was also easy to reach areas south of Siena, including Montalcino, the Val d’Orcia, Montepulciano and Cortona by skirting the eastern side of Siena.
The owner was extremely kind and helpful with suggestions concerning visits, driving directions as well as the more mundane groceries and household items. A bakery and a Coop grocery store, with fresh produce and a good selection of decently priced wines, are conveniently located within a 5-minute drive from the villa.
We had previously rented a villa in Sorrento through Ville in Italia and had been delighted. We were totally enchanted this time and can heartily recommend Villa Tea for an outstanding Tuscan vacation.
