The infinity pool overlooks the mediterranean ocean and when you are lying down on one of the lounges, it seems that you are in the middle of that ocean. There are quite a number of steps from the villa to the main street, but luckily, there is a hotel about 1/2 way up which serves a buffet breakfast even to people who are not registered at the hotel. The food is fantastic and the price is 10 euros per person-which includes more than one cappuccino or caffe or your preference should you choose.
This villa is close to almost everything-which does not mean there are no steps. In fact, if you are offered porters for your luggage, I do not recommend that you turn that down. It is 10 euros per bag but well worth it unless you are very athletic.
We bought a bus pass (10 euros seems to be the going price for everything) which could be used for up to 24 hours and takes you all along the Amalfi coast. We stopped in Amalfi and had a nice "snack" and went all the way to Ravello for a wonderful lunch at the Cantina.
The ferries are not too far from the villa, check the time for departures and give enough time to get there as you may be tempted to browse in the wonderful shops.
Thank you for the welcoming fruit basket. We enjoyed that nice touch.
