The location and views were spectacular. If your intention is to see Amalfi Coast, Capri, Naples, Vesuvius, and surrounding areas you can't beat this location. Ferries from nearby Sorrento make travel around the Bay of Napoli less hassle than driving, especially if you want to go into Naples. The property was very comfortable! Our visit required 3-units: Upstairs, downstairs, and unattached bedroom suite that made for very private sleeping arrangements for our 3 couples. Upstairs and downstairs had private kitchens and each unit had at least one bathroom. Huge patio outside at upstairs unit and another up on the roof made outdoor activity extremely inviting. Our choice to visit in late Oct/early Nov resulted in a very wet stay and humidity was more than expected but if you go this time of year they do provide dehumidifiers. However, our timing was fortunate and we didn't miss anything we wanted to do. How about a reasonably priced "Michelin Rated" restaurant only a 5-minute walk away? Our host was a darling and very helpful at check-in, handling our questions during stay, and check-out. She met us in Massa Lubrense and lead us to the property, which being in Italy, means navigating some tricky, narrow roads so my advice, if you are driving, is secure a very small car, even though we did ok with a large Range Rover. Remember that extra electricity usage beyond what they allot, and gas, are an extra charge but ours was very little (only 17 euro. if memory serves) considering we stayed there 8-nights but were there mostly only at night and did not need to run heat or Air, nor did we cook much, mostly only breakfast.
