Il Torrione is an ancient Tuscan villa dating back to the 1600s situated in a beautiful, peaceful position in the green valleys between Siena and Arezzo.
The indoor areas of the house are very pleasantly furnished. Outside there are wrought iron tables and chairs and a barbecue for eating “al fresco”, as well as areas where guests can relax under the shade of centuries-old trees, and a large 10 x 20 m swimming pool (max. depth 2.5 m) which is shared with Villa Cavaliere.
The two properties are around 100 meters apart but are completely independent from each other. Large groups can book both villas together.
The villa is located in a strategic position that is very convenient for visiting the most important art cities of Tuscany such as Florence, Siena and Arezzo, which can be easily reached by car or by train from the railway station at Bucine which is 5 Km away. There is a food store and restaurant 1Km away in the small village of Badia Agnano. Bucine has a variety of different stores.
On request, it is possible to organize suppers, lunches and cookery courses focusing on Tuscan cuisine, as well as visits to the local wineries to taste their products, or to the outlet stores of many famous Italian high fashion brands such as Prada.
