Air-conditioning in the living-room and in the double bedroom on the first floor.The apartment lies in a small residential area on the promontory of Punta Caruso, about 3 kms from the village of Forio. It lies in a very tranquil and panoramic spot, with a view taking in the beaches of San Francesco and Chiaia and of the sea as far as the horizon, with beautiful, typical mediterranean vegetation all around. Il Pitosforo is on two floors, and has a nice panoramic terrace overlooking the sea. It is furnished with high-quality pieces, and equipped with dishwasher, washing-machine and air-conditioning in the living-room and in the bedroom on the first floor. You can use the swimming-pool shared with other residents that lies in the central part of the grounds. Forio d'Ischia is a lively village with all the necessary services,and there you will also find several excellent restaurants. To go to Naples there are ferries that can also take your car, both from Ischia harbour and from Casamicciola, or you can take the hydrofoil, which crosses the bay of Naples in forty minutes. You walk to the sea down a flight of about 130 steps below the house, and the beaches of San Francesco and Chia can be reached in about ten minutes by car.
THERMAL SPAS:
The Thermal Parks of Ischia are real oasis of wellness where you can spend pleasant days of relaxation. The structures provide an entrance ticket whose price varies from park to park and according to the time of entry. Among these, the park of Negombo is located just 2 km from the property.
THE BEACHES:
The nearest beach is that of San Montano and is located just a few steps from the thermal park of Negombo and then only 3 km from the apartment in Lacco Ameno.
FORIO D'ISCHIA
It is located just 3 km from the apartment. It is a city rich in beaches and bathing establishments, including the Beach of San Francesco, that of Chiaia, that of Cava dell'Isola, that of Citara with the famous Thermal Park of Giardini Poseidon.
In Forio d'Ischia there is no lack of opportunities for shopping: in the main street there are stores ranging from typical products of the island, ceramics, up to clothing. A short distance from the center is the Port of Forio wrapped by restaurants, pubs, lounges and disco bars.

Viele Grüße FrankWe had a wonderful week stay at Il Pitosforo in August ‘23. Having only seen photos, we were thrilled that the patio and view were even more spectacular in person. The home provided everything and more for our comfort; the kitchen was well-stocked, with utensils and dishes, the second bedroom included a trundle so both of my sons could share the room (and leave the living room for “living”), an outdoor shower, a washing machine, and a gorgeous pool. The owner of the home is a gem. She is charming, thoughtful, and respectful of privacy. She even honored our special request and made reservations for us in town to watch a soccer match.
We hope to return soon and would very much recommend Il Pitosforo for a relaxing week or 2 for a family.

Agréable maison de vacances, très belle terrasse, vue panoramique exceptionnelle, belle piscine, accès à la mer un peu sportif mais très agréable. Voiture indispensable pour accéder à la maison.

La villa est très agréable et très pratique car il y a tous les équipements pour passer de bonnes vacances.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la tranquillité du lieu, la vue magnifique sur la baie de Forio, la grande terrasse et bien sûr la piscine.
Tout était vraiment très bien. En résumé, c’est une villa que nous conseillons à nos amis.

ClaireWe really enjoyed our holiday in Ischia. Il Pitosforo was wonderful, we thought the standard of the accomodation was excellent, very clean, very well equiped (so many plates, glasses etc!) and particularly useful to have a dishwasher and washing machine. The terrace and the views were amazing. The island was very interesting but very busy in August (we know this is the same in all of Italy and Sardinia).
We would go to Il Pitosforo again and will definately use your agency again

JohnFirstly I must say we were delighted with our accommodation at Il Pitosforo. The location was quite spectacular albeit quiet and the owner very nice when we met her. The appartment was clean and well presented and also well equiped. It would be good to recommend a car as it was almost essential due to the location.
In terms of the other information I received and the good service from yourselves I can only say that I was more than happy and it was a pleasure to do business with you. I will certainly keep a note for future reference should I need to use you again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Pitosforo. The apartment was extremely well equipped and the setting couldn't have been better. The views from the patio were stunning even better than the photographs on the internet. The directions were very clear and we had no problems finding the property.
