"Il Convitto" is part of a villa created from an old building constructed at the beginning of the 1700s which was part of the residential complex called "La Cocumella".
The entire structure was originally a Jesuit convent. The villa borders the attractive grounds of the nearby hotel.

The property has four floors and has been furnished with great care and attention down to the smallest details, and can comfortably host up to twelve guests in a total of about 500 sq.metres linked by stairs and a lift.

"Il Convitto" is in a residential area of Sorrento, where there are also some of the best-known hotels.
About 100 metres away there is a lift which takes you down to the beach and some well-equipped bathing establishments.

Don't miss the sunset from the Marinella panoramic terrace, located just 150 metres from "Il Convitto". One of the most visited viewpoints, it is a public terrace overlooking the cliff where you will also find a bar with outdoor tables. From here you can fully enjoy the view of the sea, the city of Sorrento and the entire Gulf of Naples.

- It is also possible to get to the beach of the same name from Marinella by walking along an ancient Roman path carved into the rocks. It is also possible to reach the Marinella beach by public lift.

- Not to be missed: an excursion along the coast between Sorrento and Piano di Sorrento. A coastline characterised by high cliffs that line almost the entire Sorrento coast.
On foot, it is possible to reach the Circumvesuviana railway station with which the excavations of Pompeii can be reached in about 30 minutes.
