This tower stands sentinel above a sheer drop down to the sea in the nature reserve in the Maremma about 7 km from the village of Talamone and 3 km from Fonteblanda, where you will find all the services you might need. It lies in a very panoramic and tranquil position, overlooking the bay of Talamone and with a view stretching as far as the promontory of Argentario. It has its own path down to the sea with a furnished sunbathing platform, that can be reached via a short flight of steps carved into the rock. At the foot of the tower they have made two terraces; in the first terrace they have placed a 6x4 m swimming-pool, which has a beautiful view, and in the second, surrounded by vegetation, they have created a belvedere for enjoying the view, with sofas and chairs for taking the sun. Torre Etrusca is on two floors: on the top floor you will find the large salon with extensive panoramic windows, and direct access to the terrace that dominates the bay. The furnishings are sober and very refined, in tune with the ancient Spanish structure, built to stem the incursions by the Saracens. It is equipped with all the best creature comforts, such as satellite-TV, stereo with CD player, telephone with internet access. From the villa you can take many interesting trips both into the Maremma with its villages and landscapes that have hardly changed, or to the more famous bathing resorts. Porto Santo Stefano is about 15 km away. We should also mention the excellent Maremman cuisine and its wines that can be enjoyed in the many restaurants in the area.
