The property lies less than 5 kms from the town of Castellina in Chianti, and is reached by taking the road towards Radda, and then entering an untarred road that leads straight into the garden of Villa la Lama. The surroundings are particularly beautiful and panoramic, and it is unusual in Chianti to have a view over a valley without a single house roof in sight, and the natural scenery seems to go on forever down into the valley below. Villa la Lama consists of two large independent apartments that are presented together as a single property and is anyway furnished with large living-rooms and dining areas where all of the guests can dine together. It is furnished with typical tuscan furniture and is equipped with 2 dishwashers, washing-machine, 2 satellite TVs, stereo with CD player and a video tape-recorder. The high level of comfort is particularly enhanced by the absolute privacy that you can find here both inside and outside of the villa. In the garden, besides the barbecue, you will find areas furnished for dining outside and opposite the villa a 6x12m swimming-pool, completely fenced. The area between Castellina in Chianti and Radda is one of the most typical of the Chianti Classico area, and besides the many vineyards producing excellent red wines, there are also good local restaurants and attractive medieval villages. Florence is 42 kms away, and Siena 25 kms. In the villa they can also organize tuscan cooking lessons and arrange for delicious dinners to be cooked for you.
