The villa lies about 500 metres from the town of Ravello, in a wonderfully panoramic position, and you arrive at the house along a private road leading to the parking area, which can accommodate 3 or 4 cars. The furnishings consist of antique furniture with old paintings and high-quality finishings, and the floors are covered in typical local hand-made ceramics. The villa is equipped with: satellite TV, stereo with CD and DVD, telephone, high-speed internet connection, washing-machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, and air-conditioning in the annex. The external area covered by the property is extensive, covering about 10,000 square metres and consists of porticoes (200 sq.m.), gardens and lemon groves, and from every part of the property you can take in the beautiful view overlooking the stretch of coast between Amalfi and Maiori. The pebble beach at Castiglione is about 4 kms away. The old town centre of Ravello is within walking distance - a town of international renown for its tourism, and many well-known people have been attracted by its famous villas, such as Villa Cimbrone with the spectacular view from the terrace at the end of the garden. A very important annual event is the Ravello Festival of classical music, which is held in the magical atmosphere at Villa Rufolo. The garden is full of exotic plants, flowers, pine trees and cypress trees and for over fifty years has hosted the Ravello Festival, the oldest in Italy apart from the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence.
