Villa Farneta lies in the hills surrounding Lucca, towards the famous Versilia coast. The owners used to live in the villa themselves, and have recently moved to another house standing at the edge of the extensive garden. The area is characterised by wide expanses of olive groves and is well-known for the presence of nearby Farneta Abbey, situated in a secluded and peaceful spot not far from the villa. The completely enclosed garden has centuries-old trees and delightful Mediterranean plants, a 6x12 m swimming-pool for guests' exclusive use, and various spacious well-equipped areas for relaxation and for romantic dinners by candlelight. Villa Farneta is furnished with valuable and attractive antique pieces, and the large drawing-room overlooking the garden is furnished with comfortable sofas and an elegant dining area. The spacious kitchen is highly functional and particularly well-equipped. All the rooms have been decorated with superb taste and close attention to detail. Just 500 metres from the villa is a food shop with typical local produce.
