The apartment is in an elegant, quiet villa in the centre of Positano, and access is direct from the villa garden both to the apartment and to the private, panoramic terrace from which you can admire a beautiful view of the town and of the enchanting gulf of Positano. The furnishings consist of very good quality, comfortable furniture, and the apartment comes equipped with dishwasher, washing-machine and TV, air-conditioning in the two larger bedrooms and in the living-room. Positano is the best-known town on the Amalfi Coast, and is an incomparable combination of the gifts endowed it by its natural surroundings and the vitality of the work done by man, which gives it life and colour. Villa Clivia lies in the first part of the street, which can also be driven down by car, that runs through the whole of the town, and which is a succession of lively fashion shops, typical local ceramics shops, bars, excellent restaurants alternating with constant views of the sea. However we advise you to leave the car in a pay car-park and to move around on foot or by public transport, which has a very good service throughout the day. The nice beach of Positano is about 500 metres away and can be reached either down the main street through the old town centre or via attractive flights of steps that cut through the town down to the sea, which are shorter, but certainly more tiring. Positano is about 17 kms from Sorrento, and about 50 kms from Naples.
