The house started, in 1759, as an outbuilding for the manor house of the Counts of Alberti, and lies in the hills around Impruneta, in some of the most pleasant countryside in Tuscany. In this area the fauna is protected and the property is surrounded by a large olive grove of over 3000 trees, where they have built the 6x12 swimming-pool with a panoramic view over the city of Florence. The building has been completely renovated, and they have restored the trussed roof with its original wooden beams where you can see the original construction date carved in one of the beams. The furnishings are sober and elegant. The house is equipped with stereo with CD player, satellite-TV, washing-machine, dishwasher, microwave oven and barbecue. Outside, besides the private garden and the swimming-pool which lies about 80 metres from the house, guests can take pleasant walks within the grounds. The lower floor has access from the other side of the building and is inhabited by the owners - a nice young couple who will be available for anything you might need. The nearest towns are Impruneta and Tavarnuzze, both of which are about 2 kms away and have all of the services you might need. The golf course at Ugolino is about 4 kms away, and the old city centre of Florence is about 7 kms away.
