The apartment has been made from the sub-division of a large villa lying on the rocky promontory above the bay of Mazzarò. The special characteristic of Marika is the fact that it has private access to the sea, which is reached along a path where you need to exercise some care, but has a particular beauty all of its own. Once you reach the gate that leads to the beach, guests have the use of a furnished sunbathing terrace. Both the sunbathing terrace and the path may be shared with the owners who occasionally occupy the other property. The apartment is very comfortable and has been furnished with care. Its private terrace has been furnished for dining outside and from here you can enjoy a splendid view of the gulf. The apartment has also been equipped with dishwasher, oven and washing machine. About 150 metres away you will find food shops, bars and restaurants, a pay car-park and the cable-car which takes you straight to the centre of Taormina, and which we would recommend to avoid the problem of parking in the centre of the town. It lies 2 kms from Taormina and 50 kms from Catania.
