The apartment lies in the old city centre of Florence about 500 metres from the Piazza del Duomo and is on the second floor of a nice building dating from the 1700s. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, with comfortable bedrooms - each with its own private bathroom, elegantly furnished and finished with curtains and linen in pleasant materials that enfold you in a warm atmosphere, combining charm and comfort. The attention to detail and way they have used the space in the apartment all combine to make it all especially welcoming. The apartment is equipped with independent heating, air-conditioning, satellite-TV, stereo with CD player, dishwasher and washing-machine. From the panoramic terraces, one of which is furnished for dining outside, you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the roofs of the city of Florence, and especially of the Duomo (cathedral) with the bell-tower, Palazzo Vecchio and many other buildings that make up the history of the city, with all around the most famous hills in the world. It is close to the main train station at Santa Maria Novella, and just a short walk from the most important museums and monuments in the city (Duomo, the Accademia, the Uffizi, San Lorenzo, the Medici Chapels, San Marco and the Fortezza da Basso) and from the most elegant shopping streets. You can park the car in a private garage just a short walk from the apartment which also offers weekly packages or in the public parking at the train station.
