Fienile Montalbano lies within a large estate and is situated on a hill with a good view just a short distance from the town of Vinci where Leonardo da Vinci was born, and where you can visit the museum dedicated to the great inventor. It's in an ideal, central position as regards the art cities of Florence and Pisa, which can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. Fienile Montalbano is part of a complex together with another 5 apartments which have been created in a nearby farmhouse (Podere Montalbano), but it has its own private, furnished outside areas and its own exclusive swimming-pool of 3x8 metres. The recent renovation was carried out with great care, and the interiors have been furnished with taste and with attention even to the fine details. Guests can use a laundry with a shared washing-machine, and also for guests use is a wireless internet connection free of charge, and a vegetable patch with whatever is in season. Lamporecchio is about 1 km away with all kinds of shops, and Vinci 5 kms, Florence 40 kms, Pisa 50 kms, and the famous beaches of Versilia are 65 kms away.
