In the splendid town of Spello, which boasts ancient origins and thanks to its enchanting beauty is part of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy (an association that counts a limited number of Italian villages which have lent value to its historic and artistic patrimony and preserved a precious architectural harmony between the past and the present), is where the Casetta del Lunario is situated. You access it from inside the town walls from a peaceful alley, that leads to the old town centre, one of the many alleys of medieval origins that make up the urban fabric of this place, made up of very well-kept alleys lined with flowers (the "Infiorata" festival in May is a very important event, where the streets are covered with incredible floral decorations) and the small lively squares, excellent restaurants and wine shops. The owner, who also owns "Lunario", only 30 m along the same alley, has renovated this delightful little house with a class and taste that set it apart, creating an elegant atmosphere that is also modern, cosy and colourful: from the alley access through a covered passageway, furnished with a bench, colourful cushions and a coat hanger, to the private garden (100 m2), which overlooks the surrounding houses and the alley, with a table in the shade for outdoor dining and benches and elegant lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun, to the French doors that lead indoors. From the windows, charming views of the alley, the rooftops and from the balcony in the double bedroom you can enjoy a splendid view of the hills and the valley that stretch out from the edge of the town. The result is a fascinating, comfortable, small refuge of great charm and equipped with all the comforts (air conditioning in each room, satellite TV, washing machine/dryer). The guests who come by car will get a special permit from the owner to access the area (only for residents) and they can park 70 m from the house. This accommodation is for non-smokers.
