Just a few kilometers from Florence, in the countryside around Montelupo Fiorentino - a town famous for its ceramics - lies, at the top of a hill, in a tranquil and panoramic position, surrounded by olive trees and cypresses, Casa delle Azalee, an old hay-barn, now an elegant and comfortable detached house. Once a week they offer guests a culinary surprise, so that you can try some of the typical Tuscan dishes and can also, given some notice, organize several services that can make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable (hire of a cellular phone with pre-paid card, preparation of some typical local desserts, museum bookings, guided tours, tickets for concerts, personal shopper). The most famous cities in Tuscany are all within easy reach from here: Florence is just 20 minutes away, Vinci 10 minutes, Pisa 30 minutes, Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano are just 50 minutes away.
