Meina, a delightful tourist and holiday resort on Lake Maggiore, stands out for its many splendid 19th century villas - Villa Eden, Villa Faraggiana, Villa Pasta "La Favorita", Palazzo Bedone, Villa Bonomi and Villa Faraone - as well as the many period buildings and beautiful suburb.
Casa Granata is located in the upper part of the town, around 1 Km from the center and 2 Km from the lakeside. The house is on two levels. The owner, a very easygoing, helpful person, lives on the ground floor, whilst the first floor is reserved for guests.
The villa is tastefully furnished and includes a washing machine, dishwasher, digital TV, internet connection via USB stick and a portable air conditioning unit. It is possible to enjoy stunning views of the lake from the veranda and the large windows in the living room. The upper part of the garden is for the exclusive use of guests. There is a car park in the lower part of the garden, right next to the entrance gate.
The lake offers many opportunities for practicing water sports, including sailing and rowing. Many parts of the lake are also suitable for bathing. There are many restaurants in Meina and the neighboring towns that offer excellent local foods and wines.
