Tuscany is a perfect combination of beautiful scenery, art treasures, warmth and
hospitality, and superb food and wine. We have some enchanting villas in Tuscany
to enable you to enjoy this extraordinary area to the full. The 'art triangle' formed by Florence,
Siena and Pisa is a rich mine of sightseeing, and the Chianti wine area,
with its hills, vineyards and olive groves is perhaps what most people
think of as 'real' Italy. Lucca should be visited along with the medieval
towers of San Gimignano and the castle at Monteriggioni, mentioned by Dante
in his trilogy. Yet this is only a small part of the wealth of interest
this region offers. The coast has miles of sandy beaches. Umbria is similar to
Tuscany but less famous - it has beautiful
scenery, art cities such as at Assisi and Perugia, and of course excellent cuisine
and wine.
